Okay as a big Elder scrolls lore guy the Elves have genuinely done heinous things. there literal religion teaches them to hate and want to kill us because they see Mundus (the mortal realm) as a prison created by Lorkhan (or Shor), so the Mer see the Men who celebrate mortality as idiotic and like a slap in the face to them. Genuinely the only three races that I would say are morally decent would be Orsimer (orcs), Argonians, and Khajit.
