@hungr.ly: 🪷 u dessert story 📍 berkeley, ca ⭐️ 9/10 💰 $$ things i ordered - young pandan cake (9.5/10) - thai tea french toast (8/10) - mango bingsu (9/10) - strawberry croffle (9/10) 🎙️ u dessert story has become my go to after family dinners and long study sessions, and it never misses. the young pandan cake stole the show. the crepe layers make it SO light and airy, and the coconut cream compliments the pandan perfectly. it's got that not too sweet flavor that just hits different for asians specifically, you know exactly what i mean. strawberry croffle is right behind it. perfectly baked waffle, no notes. the whipped cream was fluffy, decadent, and full of vanilla, and the strawberries added the right amount of tartness to balance it out. mango bingsu might be the closest thing to eating a cloud. the shaved ice texture is unreal and the sticky rice on the side is honestly my favorite part. only knock: the mango was a little underripe this time. then the thai tea french toast, which i went into as a total thai tea skeptic. the bread pieces were the real standout, soft, and paired so well with the ice cream. good one to split if you're unsure it's your flavor too. beyond the food, the vibe does A LOT. the flower decor is so pretty, and if you catch it during the day the sunlight hits the desserts just right and makes everything glow (melts a little faster though lol). whoever's on aux always has it right too. if you're near downtown berkeley and need a sweet stop after dinner or a study session, this is it!! 🏷️ #bayareaeats #berkeleydesserts #bingsu #asiandessert #bayareafoodie
