your hair needs to be dripping wet when styling! and then scrunch with a tshirt before you diffuse! helps get out all the extra water and product! brush the top layer backwards in like a mohawk section if you want volume!

Use a hair oil to help break the crunchy cast when it’s almost dry! I usually use the kerastase gold bottle

I’d use a little less product too and make sure your hair is sopping wet when applying product but it looks so good already!!!

Do cream first and then once you’ve styled with the brush, then go in with mousse, then gel!!!! Also you can style the crown of your head separate. I have a curly hair routine on my page!!!🥰

I would try using a paste or curl custard and then finger curling, I would also let it air dry :)!!

Hey, so I know on my account. I have only my hair flat ironed, but I have almost the exact same hair as you and I’m also learning to do my curls but I would recommend doing less of everything in terms of just less of each product hair can get way down super easily, but your curls are beautiful🥰

Wait till your hair is like 70% dry to diffuse it and when you diffuse it only do the roots first and then after the roots are dry work on the bottom!!
