I know the new TV is obviously better but you had a light turned on directly next to the old TV do the same thing with the new one will make it pitch Black for both of them😂

For me it depends on how much you’re looking at the screen per day. More than an hour per day? Definitely spring for the upgrade but if you only watch the occasional show and the TV is off most days then no point.

Go to a store with a Sony TV display known as a 'waterfall display'. They usually have a back lit TV next to a OLED playing the same video to show the difference. That's really the only way she'll see the difference.

oled is an obvious big improvement but I feel like it's one of those things when until you've experienced it yourself, a non oled TV will seem fine but once youve tried an oled you can't go back

Everyone saying “turn off the light” acting like they can’t see the backlight literally blasting through the night sky here. Be foreal. Turning off the light will only make the 100 dollar TV look even brighter. 😂
