Okay but take your skin care/ make up. It may seem dumb, but I tell you, looking in the mirror for 5 minutes to pay attention to YOURSELF (not just in the hospital, also every day postpartum) is actually the best advice I ever received.

I always recommend getting a pair of cheap flip flops for the shower. You will be shocked the amount of germs in the hospital showers. Working in a hospital for years I’ve seen some stuff in them showers. With all of my births I brought my own cleaning supplies and had my man give it a good scrub before I showered.
