@abc7la: (8/7/26) AIR7 video shows a lot of smoke in the Gorman area, where the Ridge Fire has triggered evacuation orders, warnings and a closure of the 5 Freeway. At one point, a "firenado" was spotted along the fire line, estimated to be about 70 to 100 feet tall. "Firenadoes" form when the intense hot air around the fire rises, and cool air blows in and starts spinning around. Read more at the link.
