54 years t1d and this is the first time I’ve heard this. Makes sense why I always crash hard hours later. Thanks!

I have read you should exercise if you are above 300 because exercise can actually raise your sugar levels. Is this not true?

Is there an amount of time that passes where you do just need more insulin? After my son is high for 2 hours I usually do more insulin. Is this wrong?

that's exactly what is happening to me. I take a bunch of fast acting insulin and then later on, I end up crashing having to eat a lot of sugar and then it goes way too high smh

do people really not get told this? this is one of wjat I would call the basics. its the peak of insulin. depending on insulin type. depends on the leak and how long it takes to work the rest. and rage bonus does bring it down quicker if 1 peak hits the tail end of the previous peak

It took me so long to stop rage bolusing and just go for a 20-30 minute walk instead. that walk works nearly every time.
