I love telling this joke to my co-workers. I make it longer every time. I save it for when we are stuck in a vehicle together or somewhere else they can’t escape it. It’s become quite the inside joke between a couple of the old timers. Been telling it at random for the past 5 years.

I heard somewhere that most of the time when norm would make these jokes drag on it was because Conan called him last minute to cover for another guest who cancelled. He’d have to fill 10 minutes and he’d make a joke last as long as he could, all just to help his buddy out
