Hmm, I don’t know. A lot of Black men who don’t date Black women do have some level of internalized prejudice, but I’ve also come across plenty who genuinely love and respect everyone and simply prefer white women. Sometimes people just aren’t attracted to or interested in dating people within their own race, and it isn’t always rooted in self-hatred or internalized issues. We’re not always going to be someone’s preference, even when we happen to look the most similar to them.

meh I dont agree with this. there are white people who only date black people and i wouldnt say its some deep rooted thing. people like what they like. there are people who only date in their race. I dont think anyone is racist dor having a racial preference. obviously if they say some outlandish shit about black people that is different, but simply dating white people isnt self hatred just like white people dating black people isn't some kind of self hatred.
