I’d honestly have to disagree with the comments here, overall the flavor profiles in this cake seems odd but works very well together. black pearl chiffon relies heavily on chocolate/cocoa powder to balance its deep and rich tone with a mild sweetness. mint would work incredibly well with the previous combo, granted that mint already works well with chocolate flavors like this. the grape isn’t a terrible choice, it might clash a bit considering the crunchy texture, but overall if anything it brings a refreshing lightness into the rest of the cake
