Maybe a hot take: John has been on record saying the CIA hired people with “pycoathic tendencies” and he worked for the CIA meaning he is admitting to having those tendencies and not only his ex wife and his kids both fully cut him off it was probably his fault right?

This entire conversation is what made me view him much more negatively than anything else hes ever said. The whole "no contact culture" comment like kids just cut their parents out of their lives to be trendy. Aside from litteral psychopaths that are incapable of feeling emotion no one cuts a loving, caring, supportive person out of their life, especially not a parent, on a whim. Calling it "no contact culture" is very dismissive language to make it seem like them cutting him out was not his fault, but a moral failing on his children's part. That single comment is VERY telling on how John treats interpersonal relationships. Just like he said before. The CIA specifically looks for people with socio and psychopathic tendencies.

The worst thing about no contact culture is that people act like parents don’t have emotions or self-value and are just supposed to take it, forgive and immediately welcome their children back with open arms because it’s their kids. The moment you become an adult you become partly responsible for your relationship with others and as an adult, you’re not entitled to reconciliation with the people you disowned or neglected for years. That includes your own family.
