Back in court, Dr. Mark Tenerowicz of Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital described treating three-year-old Dawson after he was brought to the emergency department. The child was not breathing and had no detectable pulse. Medical personnel performed prolonged CPR, administered fluids, and used medication in an effort to restore his heartbeat. Despite those efforts, Dawson could not be revived. Dr. Benjamin Kaufman later testified about eight-month-old Callan, who also arrived without breathing. Doctors were able to restore his heartbeat temporarily, but he showed no signs of brain function. He was transported to Boston Children's Hospital, where he later died. The testimony was difficult for Clancy, who has previously become emotional during the proceedings. The jury has also heard evidence including a recording of her husband, Patrick Clancy, calling 911 after discovering the children and Clancy herself following her own suicide attempt. Prosecutors allege that Clancy deliberately created an opportunity to harm her children after her husband left the home to run errands. The prosecution is seeking to establish that the deaths were intentional. The defense presents a very different explanation. Defense attorney Kevin Reddington is expected to argue that Clancy was suffering from severe postpartum psychosis and should be found not guilty by reason of insanity. The defense has pointed to her documented mental-health struggles, previous hospitalizations, suicidal thoughts, and the medications she was taking before the tragedy. The case therefore centers on a critical legal question: Was Clancy legally responsible for her actions, or was she experiencing a severe psychiatric episode that prevented her from understanding what she was doing? Jurors have already been exposed to powerful evidence from the scene, medical testimony, and accounts from first responders. More testimony is expected as prosecutors and defense attorneys continue presenting their cases. The trial remains ongoing, and Clancy has not yet been convicted. The jury will ultimately have to weigh the competing accounts and determine whether the prosecution has proven its case beyond a reasonable doubt.

Ella pidió ayuda de mil formas y como la familia no estubo a su lado, no entiendo, solo llevaba meses de dar a luz y todas las mamás sabemos lo estresante que puede ser no tener ayuda y más cuando tienes a otros niños pequeños que también atender, no justifico para nada lo que pudo a ver hecho pero es bien difícil el proceso del post parto y lo digo por experiencia, solo Dios sabe que pasó y espero que realmente paque el que lo hizo, pobres angelitos 🥺
