@pondbetween: Upon further digging, the account in question on x is japan_nobunaga and he has a website. It is a storytelling project written by a Japanese man who lives in Japan and it is entirely fictional. It is comedy, parody and cultural commentary and it is also according to him translated to English with AI. That does explain the Cadence and the fanciful nature of the stories themselves. However I've seen so many people assuming that these stories are true and I don't think people have actually been looking at the website. I imagine they would be upset if they knew it was translated with AI since a lot of Hardcore anti Ai people or even against translation work. I do not want to make a hard statement about how much of these are crafted with AI and this does seem to be genuinely sweet storytelling fictional or not. #fifa #japan #worldcup #aistory #aicommunity
