honestly almost 95% of the time when I help someone with something like in school I also teach myself more about that because you're teaching something trying to make it make sense and then it clicks to you as well

yes you lose things when helping people wtf is that nonsense. I wont bother giving examples cause there are way too many but keep in mind that helping someone is almost always the right thing to do, and he's right you dont need to wait something in return. But, always helping someone despite them not giving a fuck about you is called weakness, and always think about yourself first, at the end of the day no one's gonna be here with you.
