it's so sad reading all of these comments who have the same argument of "just don't have sex", because that is a fundamental part of many healthy relationships. You don't need to have sex to show intimacy, and some people prefer to not have it, but it is one of the most vulnerable and intimate things you can do with your significant other and telling people to either abstain or deal with the consequences of an accident happening is obscene. Whether abortion should be legal isn't about whether people should or should not be having sex before they are prepared for a child, it's about whether or not a woman should have control over their own body and life. Stop trying to have control over other people's bodies and just live your own life, please and thank you.

I don’t believe abortion is murder but even if I did, I would still support women’s right to choose because forcing her to to carry a pregnancy to term and completely upend her life is cruel. Why should we prioritize a fetus that has the *potential* of becoming a human being instead of the already living human who would have to carry it!

I think some people don't understand how dangerous births in general can be, and how it effects the women's giving birth, and how much it really limits what you can do with your life in the long run, and some people need to understand your not in charge of everything about women's bodies, banning abortions will make women do unsafe abortions as they can no longer get it safely from a medical professional.

im stuck in a position rn where my birth control failed when it had a 1% chance of failing the way it did. I am now pregnant, seeking an abortion. My pregnancy would slice my dreams and I will never become who I want. I would have to stay home with my parents, work minimum wage and stuck with my highschool degree. I am incredibly upset and embarrassed, and this is not what I want necessarily, but it’s literally what I need. This is a devastating decision, and no one talks about the necessity of it. My pregnancy might also become ectopic, and that’s life threatening. I might HAVE to because I would die otherwise. Sorry for the rant, have to get this off my chest
