A bit of advice for everyone as someone with mom issues. Accept the apology you will never receive. Not for their sake but for your own. Once you do that you relieve yourself of all the weight that relationship brought you. Because being unloved by your mother wasn't your fault, it was hers. Accept that she is flawed and you do have the ability and right to detach yourself from her. I did this with my mother and after years of suffering and constantly asking myself why I wasn't loveable it all just went away. I stopped crying and wondering and stressing myself out going back and rethinking every interaction. It's the best way to start healing and embracing the reality of who you are. Not some unwanted, unloved thing. You are a unique and beautiful girl/woman worthy of love and worthy of being in every space you find yourself in. You always were. ❤️
