people saying "not all men" are wrong. im gun training, youre taught to treat all guns as if theyre loaded. women use that principal for men. there is a chance that any man can hurt you whether they will or not. same with a gun.

Every girl I've met has a story about what a man did to her, me included, but the guys I've known hate girls because she broke up with him and didn't want him anymore, 2 very different things. "not all men" is a weak argument because how are we to pick from THOSE men? You still carry something to protect yourself just in case.
