I don't for a second know how they could just forget any of this. I remember EXACTLY where I was and what I was doing. I remember being glued to the tv's in every classroom. I remember the dedication we made on the cover of our senior yearbook. The whole school took part. I remember so much about it, checking the news for survivors, the plane that citizen heroes stopped from reaching it's target, the "I love you" phone calls being released from just before...and it scares me to see what's being allowed today...

I was 26 amd working at Mount Sinai Hospital. We were preparing for a surge of patients. No one came. They were all dead. I still have PTSD from that Tuesday I'm September.

I lived in NY during 9/11. My husband, a firefighter spent 3 months a the pile. Everyday for months afterward..a different funeral detail for another firefighter. we lost friends and loved ones. The city, despite different cultures, came together to help one another. I can and will not ever forget how it affected all of us that day.
