Anybody paying attention will know Rockstar is nickel and diming everything with GTA6. They're doing everything in their power to maximize profits. Making a deal with Netflix and PlayStation are just the latest things. They made an astronomical amount of money with GTA5. At this point they should give back to their fans, not try to milk them for all they're worth. Pretty sure I'm the only person not buying this game.

Everyone saying you can just watch it on YouTube a few hours later but that’s not the issue at hand. It’s that rockstar is going to get away with this and soon everything about this game and future games is going to be behind a paywall and you’ll be simply paying for subscriptions and licenses, we’re literally about to enter the most anti-consumerist era of gaming

i wouldn’t be surprised with how gta 6 marketing is going that GTA 6 Online will be solely subscription based so expect paying $1200 for the PS6, $20 / month for PS Plus, PS6 version of GTA 6 being $130 / deluxe being $160 and to play GTA Online u need to pay $30 / month

I fail to see the issue. First off, most people have Netflix already in 2026. Second, Netflix probably paid them for the exclusive launch of the trailer, and it wouldn’t actually be exclusive if it came out on YT simultaneously. Third, this is nothing new. Game trailers used to be exclusively debuted at conventions like E3 all the time. This seems like a natural extension of that.
