@isahstudio.com: Omo Pastor (Pastors child). 2026 You see growing up in a Nigerian household is one thing but to grow as a pastors child is one heck of a bondage I must confess. Today I remember my friend Mathew, such a beautiful boy, he taught me how to haunt, how to care for my chickens. He was the first person to give me a memory card, a 64gb in 2012 is like a ram this day. But this story isn’t about how sweet Mathew was or how he got lost, it’s about the fatigue of being a pastors’ child. You see Mathew grew up being a Reverend’s child, always attending church at least thrice a week, cleaning and sweeping the church all for blessings. When we were 16 and going to our various universities, Mathew had stop coming to church, they would always see him passing through corners lying he was coming but never came. I totally understood, if I had the chance I wouldn’t be in the car with my parents. Two years later, Mathew was smoking weed, which was kinda of normal, as we all picked up a vice along the way but the thing was he had started a journey of being a Nigerian Prince on the very popular app called Facebook, when I saw Mathew he was far gone. The next time I heard about him, my friend said Mathew had gone A-wire, dude had finally landed in the big leagues and was declaring his sovereignty over at Quilox. I remember that in that same space while I was home back from school, they said Mathew is dead, oh my Mathew is dead, Mato don die. Ooooo the church he loved so much let him down and they had the gust to whisper he would go to hell. News said he was poisoned, some said the Jazz had expired, some said his time had come. The landlord had come to remind the tenant that his rent doesn’t qualify him as the sovereign owner of the property. They said he was in so much pain at the time of death, oh my they said his friends watched me spiral and laughed, he went mad and jumped into a well, he drowned in there. Oh Mathew, his father saw his body and fainted. It was now the church knew it needed to look out for all its flocks but it was too late, even for me it’s too late to go back to church. #isah #isahworld #isahvrexperience

For the head carries a lot of weight, lot of ideas, and thoughts and the day you lose your head is the day you become free. The headless have no weight so they rejoice, except the one who prays for a head. For what is existence without a head.

In my own perspective, the headless people dancing represents society/older generation that have adapted to the fact that being headless in a sense means being very religious and also accepted in society while the younger generation is praying to have a head but society say those who have heads are d3monic which represents the scary looking headed man.

I no look their approach with negativity. I see them dancing to my victory. Las Las, dem dey happy for my breakthrough.
Abi you sha see say I don dey thank my ancestors, as dem no put me to shame.

The ones dancing don’t care about their predicament, but the one kneeling has already woken up. He begs the one with the head to pull him away from his mystery, before the mystery reveals what was never meant to be seen.
She who is with me enjoys only two weeks before the red and harsh-coloured mermaid comes to take her place in my heart. The blood is already my pressure, a warning meant to test the soul before the darkness changes everything into a wealth of death.
But they keep dancing unaware that the one kneeling is the only one who has already seen what is coming.

The four figures could represent people shaped by an environment so strongly that individuality disappears. They still move, participate, worship, perform, and appear aliv but their “heads” are gone, suggesting that their own thoughts, doubts, and identities have been removed.
“When you spend your whole childhood becoming what everyone says you should be, where does the person you were supposed to become for yourself go?
sad 😢

Is the church actually to be blamed ?.... I just feel that humans will always want to live out their craziest of the desires, especially when there is a structure or system trying to subdued such craziness, from their perspective they see it as a bondadage. This same perceived bondage could also be safety net that curbs the excess of our yearning for the type of liberation that aims to extinguish our soul

Nobody wants to have this conversation yet as a pastors child you automatically carry a heavier burden than your parents who are the pastors
