@nourishingapothecary: People often message me saying they want to become a naturopath because of the videos I share online. The truth is… I absolutely love what I do, and I wouldn’t choose another career. But there are parts of this job that people don’t see. Working in fertility means celebrating positive pregnancy tests, but it also means walking alongside women through miscarriages, failed IVF cycles and heartbreaking phone calls. Those moments stay with you long after the consultation ends. As practitioners, our minds never really switch off. We’re constantly thinking about our clients, reading the latest research, learning, problem-solving and wondering if there’s one more thing that could help someone reach their goal. There are practical challenges too. Many naturopaths are self-employed, which means no-shows, cancellations and sick days all affect your income. Building a career takes time, resilience and consistency. Despite all of that… I genuinely believe this is one of the most rewarding careers in healthcare. Helping someone hold the baby they’ve dreamed about for years makes every difficult day worth it. One day I’d love to mentor new naturopaths in both clinical practice and building a successful business, but for now I just wanted to share a side of this profession that people don’t often see. Have you ever thought about becoming a naturopath? I’d love to hear what made you interested. 🌿 Australia-wide online consultations available via Zoom. www.nourishingapothecary.com.au #Naturopath #NaturopathLife #FertilityNaturopath #HealthcareCareer #BehindTheScenes
