A verb is an action word; an adverb is a word describing an action word (verb). So if i said, “he ran smoothly”, “ran”would be the verb and “smoothly” would be the adverb. An adverb can be easily spotted by having the letters “ly” at the end. A verb can be easily spotted by having the letters “ing” at the end. Most of the time be still look out for some without those letters at the end. HOPE THIS HELPSS😁
