Using AI is NOT all bad. Some small low budget media productions can do a lot with AI and can compete with huge blockbusters. But those with enough budget (like sg govt) should not use it.

Hi, DECM student in RP. Our lecturer is a sales guy who uses AI for everything, he’s also module chair. He preaches “the era of manual coding is dead” and “dont bother manual coding, use AI or you wont make deadlines” while we are also assessed on Javascript at the end of the year which is like ??? How are we supposed to know you didnt teach us you had us copy paste code for 99% of the lessons then said “you can actually use AI for this yknow”

yk what my primary school did ? they ask the whole entire school to draw a mascot and they picked the best 3 and they said they'd combined all 3 drawings but the final mascot was ai ? like these kids put in so much effort for their drawings js for the final mascot to be ai ??

my art teacher fed my art to ai and it almost got presented to the school but I'm glad the HOD of aesthetics used my actual art piece instead of the ai work🥹
