we all need to see that pvc is being selfish, convincing himself understanding everyone, including white lily and smc. He simply stopped trying to understand them because he thinks that he knows them better than everyone just bcs he hold "a deep connection" with them. Take beast yeast chapter 8 final as an example, he said to smc that "only i can understand you" when he simply dont. Same as white lily and pvc, pvc said he knows her better and try keeping her safe, when hes ACTUALLY locking herself from finding the freedom she seek, mind you shes THE holder of the Soul Jam of FREEDOM. its like telling a butterfly to not show their wings and stay as a catterpillar.

It be honest, this does show how flawed pure vanilla when it comes to his own understanding of people. He believes that he understands what people think and wants. But in reality he doesn’t understand anything. Wlc was right that pvc doesn’t understand anything about her. He think he saving her. But he was really locking herself from her freedom. This isn’t a new thing for pvc. He did the exact same thing to smc. He say that he understood him due to them having the souljam. But in reality he didn’t and there is more to smc than what he saw in him. That is pvc biggest mistake. He has this mentality that if he say that he understand and care for others when all he doing is putting his beliefs of understanding to the people he cares about. So him being called out for it is needed. It really make him a interesting character with flaws

I’m so glad she finally stood up for herself against PVC. Honestly, PVC has been incredibly annoying from the start, trying to cling to her and risking his life to drag WLC back without ever considering her feelings or the path she chose for herself. He comes across as obsessive and selfish,he claims to understand WLC or SMC, but the truth is, he doesn't understand either of them at all.He doesn't even understand himself, for that matter.I love PVC, but he needs to stop 😭
