Easy Picadillo Ingredients * 1 lb extra lean ground beef * 2 medium potatoes, diced into small cubes * 2 carrots, diced * 1 small onion, diced * 2-3 garlic cloves, minced * 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce * 1 cup water * Fresh cilantro, chopped Seasonings (all to taste) * Salt * Black pepper * Cumin * Garlic powder * Oregano * Chicken bouillon Instructions 1. Dice the potatoes into small cubes and place them in a bowl of cold water while you prep the remaining ingredients. This helps remove excess starch. 2. Dice the carrots and onion, the garlic. 3. Heat a large pan over medium heat and add a drizzle of olive oil. 4. Add the onions and a pinch of salt. Cook for 2-3 minutes until softened, then add the garlic and cook for about 30 seconds. 5. Add the ground beef and season with salt, pepper, cumin, garlic powder, oregano, and chicken bouillon to your taste. 6. Cover and cook for about 5 minutes, or until the beef is browned. 7. Add the diced potatoes, carrots, tomato sauce, and 1 cup of water. Stir everything together. 8. Cover and reduce the heat to medium-low. Let it simmer for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally and checking that the potatoes and carrots become tender. 9. Once the vegetables are cooked through, stir in freshly chopped cilantro and let it cook for another 1-2 minutes. 10. Serve warm with white rice and enjoy! You can add more salt or pepper to taste

"Vlaški polet" Živa Dinulović uz pratnju Ansambla Ljubiše Božinovića Muzika i aranžman: Živa Dinulović Rođen je u selu Podvrška kod Kladova, u kraju bogatom muzičkom tradicijom, običajima i karakterističnim vlaškim melodijama. Tokom višedecenijske karijere izgradio je jedinstven i lako prepoznatljiv način sviranja, koji je ostavio snažan trag u narodnoj muzici Negotinske i Timočke krajine. U sredini iz koje potiče muzika nikada nije bila samo zabava. Ona je pratila svadbe, krštenja, saborovanja, porodična okupljanja i velika narodna veselja. Upravo u takvom okruženju Živa Dinulović je odrastao, upoznao dušu vlaške muzike i razvio osećaj za ritam, melodiju i emociju koju je kasnije prenosio kroz svoj saksofon. Iako saksofon nije izvorni instrument vlaške narodne muzike, u rukama Žive Dinulovića dobio je potpuno novo značenje. Njegov ton bio je snažan, prodoran i jasan, ali istovremeno topao i emotivan. Umeo je da saksofonom dočara radost, tugu, čežnju i temperament ljudi istočne Srbije. Njegovo sviranje odlikovali su brzi ukrasi, virtuozni prelazi, preciznost, snažan ritam i poseban osećaj za atmosferu. Dinulović nije samo izvodio poznate melodije, već je svakoj kompoziciji davao lični pečat. Svako kolo u njegovom izvođenju imalo je sopstveni tok, energiju i karakter. Zbog toga su ga slušaoci prepoznavali već nakon nekoliko odsviranih taktova. Njegov stil postao je uzor brojnim mlađim saksofonistima, koji su pokušavali da preuzmu njegove ukrase, prelaze i način oblikovanja tona, ali je malo ko uspevao da dostigne njegovu sigurnost, lakoću i izražajnost. Najveći deo njegovog stvaralaštva vezan je za instrumentalnu narodnu muziku, a posebno za vlaška i krajinska kola. Njihovo izvođenje zahteva veliku tehničku spremnost, snažan osećaj za ritam i dobro poznavanje načina na koji igrači reaguju na muziku. Živa Dinulović je sve to posedovao, zbog čega je umeo da podigne atmosferu i povede kolo na način koji se dugo pamti. Među njegovim poznatim kompozicijama i snimcima nalaze se „Tekijanka kolo“, „Saksofonski stakato“, „Kujino kolo“, „Kladovska zavrzlama“, „Mrak kolo“, „Vlaški rastanak“, „Korbovljanka kolo“, „Kovačko kolo“ i „Vlaški orijent“. Već sami nazivi ovih numera pokazuju njegovu duboku povezanost sa rodnim krajem, dunavskim selima i ljudima Kladovske i Negotinske krajine. Njegova kola odlikuju se jasnom melodijskom linijom, energičnim ritmom i čestim promenama koje od muzičara zahtevaju veliku koncentraciju i veštinu. Posebno je bio upečatljiv način na koji je spajao jednostavne tradicionalne motive sa zahtevnim saksofonskim deonicama. U njegovoj muzici istovremeno su se osećali radost narodnog veselja, setnost rodnog kraja i snaga vlaške tradicije. Jedno od značajnih izdanja u njegovoj diskografiji jeste album „Narodna kola na saksofonu“, koji je objavljen početkom osamdesetih godina. Na njemu su se našle brojne kompozicije koje su doprinele njegovoj popularnosti i učvrstile njegov status jednog od najvećih majstora saksofona.
