Escaped dv, while pregnant with my 3rd. Moved into my place 4 days after my 3rd csection alone with my newborn and two little ones. I don’t drive so was travelling on maxi taxis. I unpacked all alone while still recovering and didn’t even have time to rest. I have not stepped away even once from my 3 children since having them as I don’t have any support or if I did I have to pay for it and don’t have the funds to do so. I feel god has made sure I never get sick which I thank him daily for as I’m all my babies have and am grateful for my body and health to pick myself up every day to make sure my babies are well taken care of and to know that I’m around every bend corner room of our home when they need me I’m always there. Big ups to ALL MUMS WE ARE ALL THE MVPS 🙏🥰

Literally hit postnatal depression HARD. It’s not easy being a single mum, but it gets so much easier as they get older. I have an army now, but back then we just had each other and man it was tough.

I think it’s so extremely sweet that you acknowledge this! I am a mum of three and 34 weeks pregnant with my forth. I’m single and don’t have any family where I live! It is extremely hard but also when you know no one is coming to save you, you just get it done! Well done for putting this out there ❤️

Mama of 4 here, escaped dv and lost my mum and everything all at once…no support even though we did nothing wrong…I have no friends where I live and really needed this… not enough people appreciate or understand the reality of what it’s like..praying God sends someone for us who is genuine and will genuinely love and protect and will come from a good whanau who will accept us.. be worth it 🥺🫶🏼
