In light of recent events and the rather “unwelcome visits” my posts seem to receive on a daily basis, I’ve decided, once again, to explain exactly why this page exists. It doesn’t exist because I hate Taehyung. It doesn’t exist because I’m bothered by Jungkook interacting with him. And it certainly doesn’t exist because I feel the need to “defend a ship.” It exists because there seems to be this constant need to take everything Jimin and Jungkook have shared and recreate it somewhere else. A gesture, a phrase, a trip, a habit, a memory, a particular kind of interaction…sooner or later, someone desperately searches for its Taekook equivalent. And when there isn’t one, context gets twisted until one can be manufactured. Because apparently simply accepting that different people can have different relationships is impossible. But what bothers me most isn’t even the shipping itself. It’s what inevitably happens to Jimin in order to keep that narrative alive. Jimin becomes the inconvenience, the intruder, the third wheel, the person who is constantly “interfering” with something that, according to you, is supposedly so real, so undeniable and so strong that nobody should be able to threaten it in the first place. And yet somehow Jimin’s mere existence seems to do exactly that. If your belief were truly as solid as you claim, you wouldn’t be bothered by Jikook’s bond.. Then comes the demand for “evidence,” which is the most ironic part… You demand evidence from everyone else while building entire narratives out of assumptions, edited clips, conveniently cropped videos, anonymous accounts, coincidences and years of fandom-created fanfiction. You accuse other people of reading too much into things while hyperanalysing every glance, movement and interaction whenever Taehyung and Jungkook happen to occupy the same space. And then, of course, there is the hypocrisy. When Jimin and Jungkook interact, it’s fan service. When they choose something together, it’s the company. When they’re affectionate, it’s scripted. When Jungkook seeks Jimin out, there must be some alternative explanation. When they share something meaningful, suddenly it means absolutely nothing. Their interactions are called fake, forced and even “disgusting fan service.” Jungkook is begged to stop. People go as far as sending mass letters to HYBE because the reality they’re watching doesn’t fit the story they’ve spent years convincing themselves is true. And then those very same people turn around and desperately project the exact same scenarios they condemned onto Taehyung and Jungkook. Suddenly physical affection means chemistry. A glance becomes intimacy. Spending time together becomes an unquestionable personal choice. Standing close becomes evidence. Company-produced content suddenly becomes spontaneous and authentic. Everything that was “fan service” five minutes ago magically becomes proof when the names involved change. That double standard is one of the main reasons this page exists. Because at some point, this stopped being about harmlessly enjoying a ship. It became about rewriting reality until Jimin fits the role you need him to play or disappears from the story altogether. And I have zero interest in watching that happen silently. I don’t need to invent anything about Jimin and Jungkook in response. Their history belongs to them. Their words belong to them. Their choices belong to them. Whatever the exact nature of their bond may be, what they have publicly shared throughout all these years already exists. You can disagree with me. You can dislike my posts. You can keep visiting this page every day despite apparently hating everything I write. You can call me obsessed, bitter, delusional or whatever the insult of the week happens to be. There is one thing you simply cannot do: you cannot erase what Jimin and Jungkook have meant to each other throughout all these years.
