What would it mean if my transferrin saturated is high 63% high Feritin. Normal Hb, normal WBC normal, CRP, thyroid etc. slightly high Lipids?

Drew, you’ve helped me loads into investigating myself ☺️I’ve since been undiagnosed of ME/cfs and I’m on iron tablets, gp still won’t refer me to a haematologist as he says my bloods are normal 😒 ferratin of 34 with inflammation so I suspect that’s even lower… anyway, I wanted to say thank you so much for being on here, god only knows how many people you’ve helped 🫶🫶🫶 so grateful 🥹

After an iron transfusions three weeks ago my iron is 23, iron saturation 8. My ferritin 266, TIBC 306, and finally transferrin 245. Hemoglobin of 9 and hematocrit 29.5. I feel awful

my 16 year old daughter is finally going for iron infusions starting the 26th and for the first time since Dec 2023 when her iron started getting bad they ordered a 3 part test iron+transferrin+IBC. plus a CBC and ferrintin. They are doing those before each of her treatments. she has been at 9 since December of 2025. shes been on medication daily for 5 months and it didn't move her levels at all.

Your videos have helped me tremendously, thank you. My ferritin was 6 in March, my hemoglobin was 9 g/dl. They went up to 46 and 13 respectively (July), on oral iron. My doctor now wants me to stop the iron, to see if the numbers will hold. I'm scared, I think it might be too soon. At what levels do you recommend stopping iron supplementation?

hi, i tried to write to you in last live, but did not ger an answer, my blood tests are all normal values, 2 years after treating dlbcl ipi grade 2 bulky passed, i was treated with 6 da epoch, 2 rituximab only and autologous stem cell transplant, when can i expect for peripheral neurophaties to disappear

Ok this has annoyed me my daughter always has elevated esinophils and has normal serum but very low ferritin but gp says it’s fine

If you retest and your ferritin is up in the 50s, does the iron panel test alongside it rule out it being raised because of inflammation?
