I am just curious whether Hadith rejectors pray five times a day? If they do, how do they begin and end prayer? What do they recite in prayer? How many units do they pray each time? How many sujood do they do? I haven't seen a verse in the Quran that says you have to recite Surah Fatihah, nor about two prostrations in a unit or how many unit at a time have to pray.

This is what I said to a fellow American friend about this debate as we both find much about Islam inspiring and attractive as European American men, but some of it from the Arab traditions are just too ridiculous for us: You know, I honestly enjoy some of the traditions of the Sunni - mostly I like the very complex yoga and Arabic prayer rituals in their prayer exercises even though those prayer rituals add a lot of decoration that is not from the Quran - I don’t see that decoration as obligatory, but I see it as attractive, and I don’t see anything wrong with it. However, a lot of their transitions are just absolutely insanely ridiculous and silly and almost laughable. So I got sucked into this debate with them on this TikTok video, because I really can’t stand too much Hadith fundamentalism. If they are going to insist on too much of that, they are really going to turn too much of the religion into an odious and miserable burden for too many people while also making it more ridiculous and silly at the same time. Like literally, they have all of these weird traditions so obsessed with whether you are doing things on the right side or the left side of your body at different times and in different places so much so that I wouldn’t even be surprised if they found some Hadith that you can only fart while looking to the left so that you don’t contaminate the right side of your body otherwise your fart might send you to hell. 😂 I understand this is an exaggeration, but the traditions on micromanaging what to do with the right and left side of the bodies do not inspire the same reverence or awe or inspiration as the sacred prayer rituals. So it seems a shame to confuse the entire collection of verified hadith with the same level of sacredness as the Quran. I know I am not alone in thinking that some of these Hadith make the religion sound unnecessarily ridiculous sometimes.

God promised to protect this revelation. That promise is inside the text itself. Therefore the final form that reached us is the result of divine intervention, not merely human effort. Other scriptures lacked such a specific divine guarantee of textual protection, which is why the Quran says they were altered. the hadith is full of mistakes but the Quran is 100% Quran the messenger pbuh delivered to the message "Quran" and not the hadith 👍 Allah used 20% from the whole Quran to tell us that the earth is flat and above us water and there's no space no galaxies no big bang and the hadith said the opposite the hadith said the earth is globe flying in space!! the hadith was invented to make Islam a bad religion only 1% of the hadith is correct just so it won't be obvious! Allah sent us the Quran so focus on the Quran and don't be distracted by nonsense and irrelevant stories, Allah will judge you according to the Quran and not about what the prophet and his family favourite colour or habits 😉
