The world had ended quietly at first. There were no explosions. No warning sirens. No dramatic announcement telling humanity that everything was about to change. There was only a strange virus. Then came the fever. Then the deaths. Then the dead began to walk. Three months after the outbreak, Seoul had become a city of abandoned buildings, overturned cars, burning streets, and thousands of hungry corpses wandering through the ruins. Jennie Kim had learned not to look at the faces anymore. She used to know the people behind them. Neighbors. Teachers. Friends. Now, they were only things that chased them. “Jennie, move!” Lisa's voice snapped her back to reality. Jennie turned just as a zombie lunged from the doorway of a convenience store. Lisa slammed her shoulder into it, sending it crashing against the wall. “Run!” Jennie grabbed Lisa's hand. Behind them, Jisoo and Rosé were already sprinting down the alley. “There's too many!” Rosé shouted. “I know!” Jisoo yelled back. “The subway entrance is just ahead!” The four of them had been together since the second week of the apocalypse. Jisoo was the one who kept everyone calm. Rosé carried the medical supplies. Jennie handled the maps and rationing. And Lisa— Lisa was always the one who stood between the others and death. Especially Jennie. They had been lovers before the world ended. Now, their relationship had become something deeper. Something desperate. In a world where tomorrow wasn't promised, every kiss felt like goodbye. They reached the subway entrance. The gate was locked. Jisoo stared at it in horror. “You've got to be kidding me.” Rosé looked behind them. The sound was getting closer. Hundreds of footsteps. Groans. Scraping nails against walls. “They're coming,” Rosé whispered. Lisa looked at Jennie. Jennie immediately understood. “No.” Lisa reached for her hand. “Jennie.” “No. Whatever you're thinking, don't.” “We need to get that gate open.” “We can find another way.” “There isn't another way.” Lisa squeezed her hand. Her eyes were calm. Far too calm. “Trust me.” Before Jennie could answer, Lisa shoved a metal bar through the gate mechanism and began forcing it upward. Jisoo joined her. “Rosé, help me!” Rosé pushed against the gate. Slowly, painfully, it rose. “Almost!” The zombies appeared at the end of the alley. Jennie raised her weapon. “Lisa!” “Go!” The gate finally opened enough for them to crawl underneath. Jisoo went first. Rosé followed. Jennie turned toward Lisa. “Come on!” Lisa nodded. She was halfway under the gate when one of the zombies suddenly slammed against the metal. The gate jerked downward. Lisa was trapped. “LISA!” Jennie grabbed her arms. The zombie reached through the gap. Lisa kicked it away. “Pull me!” Jennie pulled with everything she had. Then another zombie appeared. It lunged straight for Jennie. Lisa saw it. She didn't hesitate. “GET DOWN!” Lisa shoved Jennie aside. The zombie's teeth sank into Lisa's shoulder. For a moment, everything stopped. Jennie's eyes widened. Lisa stared at the wound. Blood soaked through her jacket. “No…” Jennie crawled toward her. “Lisa…” Lisa pushed herself beneath the gate. Jisoo and Rosé dragged both of them away as the gate slammed shut. The zombies crashed against it. Jennie immediately tore open Lisa's jacket. The bite was unmistakable. Two punctures. Deep. Red. “No, no, no…” Rosé covered her mouth. Jisoo's face went pale. Lisa looked at Jennie. She knew. Jennie knew. They all knew. “No,” Jennie whispered. Lisa reached for her face. “Hey.” “Don't.” “Jennie.” “Don't say it.” Lisa smiled weakly. “I love you.” ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ #jenlisa #jenlisaau #blackpink #au #fyp
