@thestomachdoc: Supplements & Liver Injury: Part 1 One of the biggest things I pay attention to is proprietary blends with tons of ingredients. These blends often list multiple ingredients but don’t always tell you exactly how much of each ingredient you’re getting. That makes it harder to know whether you’re taking an effective dose, an excessive dose, or combining ingredients that may overlap with other supplements you’re already taking. This is especially important with hair vitamins, liver detox supplements, weight loss supplements, workout supplements, and herbal supplements, which often contain multiple herbs, extracts, vitamins, and minerals all in the same product. Sometimes it’s not just one ingredient that causes liver injury. It can be the combination of several ingredients, taking multiple supplements together, or taking higher total doses than you realize because the same ingredients appear across different products. If you take supplements regularly, especially multiple supplements, it’s a good idea to know exactly what’s in them and to have your liver health monitored with routine blood work, including a comprehensive metabolic panel (CMP), as recommended by your healthcare professional. Reading the ingredient list is one of the simplest things you can do to help protect your liver health and reduce the risk of supplement-related liver injury. Part 2 will cover some of the individual supplement ingredients that have been linked to liver injury. #liverhealth #liverinjury #supplements #hairvitamins

I use iHerb to purchase supplements. They promise that what the supplement says it is, it is.

Is there anything safe to take for bloating? My provider recommended HCL but I’ve heard mixed reviews.

I contracted herpes after being intimate with my new boyfriend for the first time. Before we had sex, he never mentioned that he was living with the virus, so I had no idea I was at risk. A few days later, I became extremely sick and experienced painful symptoms that lasted for about two weeks. It was one of the most difficult experiences I’ve ever gone through. After I confronted him, he admitted that he had known about his herpes diagnosis for years but chose not to tell me beforehand.
I felt completely betrayed because I believe I deserved the opportunity to make an informed decision about my own health. If he had been honest with me from the beginning, I could have asked questions, taken precautions, or decided whether I was comfortable with the risk. Instead, that choice was taken away from me.
I decided to end the relationship because trust is very important to me. However, he keeps telling me that I’m overreacting and that herpes is common, so it shouldn’t be a big deal. I understand that many people live normal lives with herpes, but I still feel that honesty and informed consent are essential in any relationship. Am I wrong for feeling this way, or was I justified in expecting him to be truthful before we became intimate?
Am cured now by @DR ITUA MIRACLE MEDICINE 🌿💯 💙❤️
