I feel like Martha's whole run is overlooked by a lot of people because of the unrequited love aspect (which I'll admit I didnt like either). It's kind of ironic considering family of blood and sound of the drums are fan favourite episodes, and while she wasnt in it, her season had Blink which is of course one of the most iconic episodes. I think had Rose or Donna been in 42, people would have considered it in much higher regards purely because it wasnt Martha, which is a shame because it's already fantastic with her

Time Heist was the first episode of the Capaldi and Clara duo that *worked* for me. I’m not the hugest fan of her but I found myself enjoying her and 12, and the other companions in that episode were brilliant. I wanted them to come back haha

I have no problem with anyone those. New Earth isn’t my favorite, but Dr Who had never done a body swap story so it was time.

I think The Planet of the Ood is a great underrated episode. Donna and 10 have great chemistry, the story is so good and the horror elements are executed beautifully

did like time heist and new earth. enjoyed the others as well. but i enjoy pretty much all the episodes up until jodie w was wronged by the bad writing. i liked ncuti, i think alot of people didnt give those episodes a chance.

42 was the first episode I ever watched! also, I wrote an article that included random episodes to get you hooked and I wanted one for each doctor, so I chose time heist! its amazing, needs limited knowledge, and doesn't have spoilers

The rebel flesh 2 parter I think is really good I think it just gets unfairly clowned because of the dodgy cgi but other than that it’s great. Time heist is always one of my comfort episodes but I find myself bored in the last 10 minutes but other than that the rest is really good

I love Time Heist!! I also want to suggest Robots of Sherwood. It’s just a fun goofy episode but it was so early in Twelve’s tenure when he already wasn’t super well received anyway that people overlook it 💔
