You all need to understand that we have 90 SECONDS to evacuate the aircraft. Not even two minutes (for over 150 people) …please do not waste precious time grabbing your belongings it’s simply not worth it.

I can’t wait until the FAA starts holding people accountable😒whether that means fines, a no-fly list, or even criminal charges for stopping to grab their bags during an emergency evacuation. You can replace medication and belongings. There are emergency responders, medical personnel, and pharmacies that can help afterward. But when a crew is waiting for passengers to evacuate and there may be only seconds to get everyone off the aircraft before the situation becomes catastrophic, stopping to grab your luggage puts the lives of passengers, flight attendants, pilots, and first responders at risk. No bag is worth someone’s life. It’s incredibly selfish.

I get not grabbing your bag from overhead bin, but as 400+ people are getting out of maybe 3 doors via 1 single file aisle then most everyone is just standing there waiting... so if my backpack is under the seat then I'm going to grab it while I stand there waiting

Everyone talking about bags. I wish there was very clear communication from all carriers of all countries about exactly the kind of support you get if your documents or medications and other items are lost/destroyed in this situation. Because I think that the terrible response to lost/damaged luggage is why a lot of people are scared to leave things behind now even if it is selfish
