my girlfriend is from Indiana and ask me how do you know how to do so many things I simply say I was raised in the Appalachian we had to learn how to do everything ourself.and we had a cow growing up and made it all the time

Way back when I was approximately, I don't know 5 or 6. We'd visit grandma or auntie's house. And they have just mounted the cow, both my sister and I got each A. Mason jar of milk or cream, in this case from anti or grandma, and we would stay in the kitchen and shake shake. Shake shake shake shake, and when it got clumpy and difficult, somebody else had to finish shaking, because my arms would be done... And my auntie had a little mixer in the corner, every she would still give us jars to shake, I look back and laugh because she made us work for it.But we got butter milk biscuits afterwards, fresh out of the oven.With that beautiful butter on top brings back such beautiful memories with homemade jam
