@raepond: Just a little clarification on what I mean by “house poor” 🏡🤍 The textbook definition of house poor is spending more than 30% of your income on housing. My mortgage is $2,517.22, so technically, I do fall slightly over that 30% threshold. But being house poor doesn’t mean I can’t afford my house or my bills. Nothing is behind, and nothing is going to be behind. It simply means I have to be intentional with the rest of my budget and cut corners in some areas to stay ahead. I keep my car payment low, have a small phone bill, and try to maximize every dollar I make. So yes, technically house poor. 😂 But definitely not poor. Just wanted to clarify what I meant because I think that part got lost in the conversation. 🤍
