@ian_haggerty_rsa: BARRACUDA DENTIST APPOINTMENT This looks like something straight out of a horror movie… but this barracuda is actually getting a clean! The tiny cleaner wrasse has ventured DEEP inside the barracuda’s mouth, picking parasites and scraps from places the barracuda can’t reach. And those teeth? Barracuda have long, razor-sharp teeth designed for grabbing and holding slippery prey. Some species even have teeth that point inward, making it much harder for prey to escape once caught. Here’s the crazy part: the barracuda is basically trusting this tiny fish to swim around inside its mouth without becoming lunch. Cleaner wrasse get a free meal, the barracuda gets a cleaning… and somehow this terrifying-looking dentist appointment works perfectly. Nature is weird. #Barracuda #CleanerWrasse #Underwater #ScubaDiving #MarineLife
