NONE of these delivery apps should allow the driver to see the tip until after the delivery. Also the buyer shouldn't be asked for a tip until after the delivery

I DoorDash and I don’t take orders with low/no tip. Yes, tipping is optional. But having someone bring your food to your door is a luxury service

If you’re only gonna tip two dollars, use your own two dollars in gas and your 30 minutes in time to go get it yourself. Because he spent at least two if not, three dollars Justin gas alone.

So somebody that was who used to do these types of apps my theory always says I don’t know the person circumstance and you have the right to reject it or go forward so for people getting upside about tips and stuff like that like I know people feel like well we’re not obligated and that’s fine. That’s cool but then they’re also people that I do tip. You don’t know their circumstance and I’m not here to say what’s right or wrong. I’ve lifted this life. Tips are always greatly appreciated, but they’re not mandatory right

It be like that sometimes, but you didn’t have to pick it up at all. Also as a fellow dasher myself, it’s not the customer you should be mad it, it’s the company that needs to start paying more because they are definitely charging the customer a lot of money and paying workers peanuts. Also I do take the lower paying ones sometimes because you never know what people are going through.
