But in order to buy alcohol, I have to be able to prove I’m old enough, in order to buy a car I have to be able to prove I am who I am, to be able to fly on an airplane I have to be able to prove who I am. When I go to enroll my children in school, I have to prove that I live in the house that I live in. I don’t understand why this is such a hard concept.

None of what she said is true, but that shouldn’t surprise any of us. The same act would not require a passport, it would simply require a real ID, which anybody can get by going to the DMV with the proper paperwork to prove that they are an American citizen. Anybody that tells you anything different is just lying to you.
