Are you KIDDING ME Lagos? 😱💸 What is this Nigeria? Don’t tell me people come to spend their own money here! I don’t believe it… This makes absolutely NO SENSE! Not even in Miami I pay $20 USD for a juice or $30 USD for an avocado on toast. But here in Lagos people do!? 😳🇳🇬 Shocking! 😱 There are expensive restaurants… and then there is THIS place in Lagos. 😳🇳🇬 I somehow ended up at what must be one of the most exclusive restaurants in Lagos. Super luxurious, beautiful setting, almost a Dubai kind of vibe. Then I opened the menu. 😂 My small acai bowl: $22 USD. Pomegranate juice: around $20 USD. Breakfast: around $30 USD. Avocado toast: around $30 USD. I’ve eaten in Miami, Dubai and LA, and even there I would find these prices crazy! The acai bowl was alright, but definitely nothing extraordinary! Some banana, supermarket-style granola and an açai base. For $22 USD, I expected a LOT more. What struck me most though is the contrast. You’re sitting in Lagos paying $20 USD for a juice in a city where many people earn a fraction of what these meals cost. Beautiful place? Absolutely. Worth the prices? For me, definitely not. 😅🇳🇬 But if it is your cup of tea… or you don’t care about money then this is exactly your place! 💸💸💸 ❤️🇳🇬 #lagos #restaurant
