in fact some of them say that it doesn't remember anything in the middle of a paragraph just like a human so having all these files does nothing. in fact it causes more hallucination than anything

I use this system. It works. Also, instead of telling agents what to do - I ask them how they would complete the task first. It’s been months since I’ve had an issue, working in this way. Clear direction via .md, as well as questioning the reasoning for how or why, an agent does what it does.

So I started a new job and they didn’t have good training on their internal query language so I made an app to teach me. I literally found this folder system to create an “agentic” approach to learning and it’s basically exactly this.

that's cool but I don't know if you heard yet or not they're saying at a minimum every 6 months delete all your md files AI doesn't need it anymore it can read your directories and understand everything and don't take my word for it.. these are the people building the AI models we use
