Context: Chinese platform Weibo held its Thailand edition today (Aug 8) in Bangkok and it brought together a bunch of Thai and Chinese stars including CH3’3 GL couples The problem: these GL pairs who are literally marketed as couples/ships in their own shows and fan content weren’t allowed to walk the red carpet together, pose together, hold hands, sit close or be framed as a unit. Meanwhile straight or non-shipped stars at the same event got to do all of that normally. Mind you thailand just legalized same-sex marriage 😅

i think the real problem is that Webio is Chinese and as far as i know there's a strict policy about GL/BL like even their comics/Manhua have this and they don't have many GL/BL either so maybe that's why despite the event being held in Thailand they weren't allowed to hold hands and walk red carpet etc correct if I'm wrong the information i have could be old
