I’m kind of scared to reread Spark of the Emberflame. I loved the first 3 without noticing anything off with Diem. I like your point of view though and you have to realize she knows nothing about what’s going on around her. I’m gonna try but we nervous!

I’m genuinely perplexed how dire bound has such good reviews. I almost didn’t finish it and the main female character is insufferable. It was so poorly written 😩
