Miguel Pineda in 1763, the first "Captain Municipal" of the place founded it. 🇵🇭 Biak-na-Bato National Park is a protected area of the Philippines located almost entirely within Barangay Biak-na-Bato in San Miguel, Bulacan from where it derives its name. 🇵🇭 Aguinaldo set up headquarters in what is now known as "Aguinaldo Cave" in Biak na Bato after arriving in Biak-na-Bato, San Miguel, Bulacan, on June 24, 1897. 🇵🇭 At the heart of the Sierra Madre mountain range lies a mountain gorge carved out by the Balaong River, which is home to Biak-na-Bato National Park. Scattered throughout the park are more than a hundred caves with varied sizes and crystalline mineral formations. 🇵🇭 Two of the most visited caves are the Bahay Paniki, also known as the Bat Cave, and the Aguinaldo Cave, which was formerly President Emilio Aguinaldo's headquarters.
