If it makes you feel any better, I was type A and these types of things still happened!! I really prioritized a chill morning where everyone was taken care of, and I ended up the only one who was completely stressed until the ceremony because it seemed like most of the group just simply couldn’t function (especially my mom!) 😅

I wrote out an itinerary for my family and wedding party, communicated beforehand, and still had to wrangle all of them on the day of 😂

This is a huge reason why planners and coordinators make such a difference on a wedding day! Even as a wedding photographer, I try to mitigate this by reminding my couples to let family members know ahead of time when and where they need to be for photos, and to designate one person who can help corral everyone when it’s time. It makes family photos go SO much smoother!
