the Egyptian Wepet Renpet festival was celebrated around the rising of star, I love finding ancient practices and seeing how the new age celebrations correlate. It was celebrated as regeneration and the opening of the new year! Its not the same but really cool because its kinda like new age manifesting like new year resolutions and wishes around the same date. So very different but also surprisingly similar!!!
