So basically, the woman crying is the daughter of Barb. Barb was recently murdered by her son Kenneth, and Kenneth was mentally insane and had previously went to psychiatric hospitals. He was living with Barb and her husband because he had no job or home, and he killed Barb because they argued and she threatened to send him back to a psychiatric hospital. The reason she is mad is because she had previously reported that Kenneth was a threat but the police never arrested him because he was arrested previously for less malicious crimes.
