I hope the devs take the story more seriously. I mean, if Chinese players who are familiar with Chinese culture say there are inconsistencies, many global players are going to be even more confused. I, for example, have become very interested in the Chinese culture that appears in WWM and have researched and learned on my own to be able to understand things about the game. I take all that beautiful cultural content that WWM has seriously. But if the story starts to have inconsistencies, global players will begin to not understand what the game is really about. I like it when Chinese players complain because they actually get listened to. So I hope they complain a lot more and the devs fix the way they're handling the story. I don't want to lose that feeling of the game giving me Chinese cultural content, and me researching and learning on my own to understand it and delve deeper into the spectacular culture and history of China. 😭

I noticed that the all OSTs after Hexi, like the Imperial Palace and Hidden Mountain, Qingshan, Jiangnan, are also unimpressive.

Devs are to busy adding pointless boring mini games, useless pets and a bugged farm system to care. Forgetting it’s a Wuxia game . The story where you go under water in mohist city is confusing af. The puzzle is fun but I legit have no idea what the story is telling me other then ‘dude tried to invent thing and the court got upset at him. Made him drink and people died to a flood’. Also the graphic fidelity is slowly going down. I mean, imperial palace didn’t have a MSQ or dark surge??? I mean, even Hexi was great but the random shove about the golden peach at the end was so confusing. Even with the dark surge. This game is a sandbox for the devs.

The mini games they are throwing at us are low-key annoying to me😭. I don’t care for them at alll. Like what happened with the main story?! What are waiting on so much?? And while I am obsessed with the hidden mountain scenery and vibes… I just hope they don’t go tooo futuristic with it. Like I love this historical factor of wwm and would like for it to stay within that range.

Also, I don't know if Global changed the names, but in CN this is another problem with Hidden Mountain. All the Mohists use bird names as their titles, but a lot of clues and stories refer to their original names (before they got those titles). And because these stories were released so far apart, every time you see a clue you're like: "Wait... who is this guy?" "Qifusheng? Oh... that's the Crane guy. Right. I completely forgot his real name was Qifusheng." 😅 who is this again? Su Qizhe? Qizhe... who is that?...Oh. This is “Crow”

i just love kaifeng, even now i go back all the time to loot stuff i missen or do wandering tales just so i can stay a lil longer, really didnt like hexi tho the second and third region are better than the desert. the montain area is very beautiful. i am not big on storyline tho

Disconnected story telling has been the problem of WWM day even in Qinghe and Kaifeng. It just gets more noticeable later on cause youre getting more and more annoyed by it.
