@shazzamataz128: You can take the girl out of dance, but you can't take dance out of the girl!! ✌🏾💃🏾 This time last year, @jismyj18 asked me to run a dance workshop for @nachle.dance... I felt honoured that she thought of me but to be honest, I didn't have faith in myself... I used to teach dance workshops prior to my injury and fibromyalgia diagnosis, so what was the worry? Well, I was worried I wouldn't be as good at dancing as I used to be. I was worried that my chronic pain would stop me from completing the whole class. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to choreograph like I used to... A year later, I decided to give it a go, and it was the best decision ever!! The choreo came very naturally to me, I had so much fun at the workshop and received so many lovely compliments 💕 If I'm being critical of myself, then no, this isn't half as complex or energetic or expressive as I used to be able to perform. But what's the point of comparing ei? This is my new body, my new reality, and I need to accept that. And I'm proud of how well I taught the class. I still have it in me!! 💪🏾 #dance #mallu #malayali #trending
