Back before you manually had to flag yourself for PVP, I would go to a lower level zone and stand right next to an elite quest mob on my stealthed rogue with PVP enabled. At some point, when the lower level horde player was fighting the hard quest mob, they'd use an AOE ability, which would hit me and flag them for PVP, then I'd gank them.
