Just go look at what 2007 gave us in terms of games. Talking Bioshock, Portal, Mass Effect, STALKER, Crysis, Modern Warfare, Assasins Creed, Team Fortress 2, Rock Band, Halo 3, Uncharted, Super Mario Galaxy. The list goes on with just bangers. I was 24 and my bank account barely made it.

I worked at GameStop during the midnight release of halo 3. Still to this day one of the craziest gaming events I’ve seen in person. We had a paintball field set up in the parking lot. A mobile gaming truck that had stations you could play multiplayer on before it came out and a 6’8” dude cosplaying Master Chief working the crowd.
